When creating Ediofy, we talked to doctors, nurses, students, hospital executives and medical educators. Then we looked at all the ways health professionals learn or share education.
We discovered that health professionals currently satisfy their requirement for ongoing professional development by completing a mix of on- the-job training and off-site courses. In addition, health professionals attend conferences, engage with online resources and collaborate across a multitude of web-based platforms in order to keep their skills relevant and up to date.
Despite their busy professional and personal lives, they have to manage their own professional learning in order to maintain their registration, pulling from a myriad of sources and sites. There is no simple, central place that they can go to find online medical education.
With this in mind, we created Ediofy.
Ediofy is a social education hub for health professionals delivering benefits not currently matched by a single platform including:
We believe that a social learning environment like Ediofy will improve not only our own skills and wellbeing as health professionals, but the health of the community as a whole.
Because the best mentor you can have, is all of them.
Co-Founder and Director
Chris is the driving force behind Ediofy - hell bent on improving not just patient outcomes, but improving the quality and accessibility of education and CPD accrual for all health professionals worldwide.
Chris graduated from Glasgow University in 2007 and continues to work clinically in Emergency Departments in rural Australia.
He has spent much of his career building medical businesses with a focus on online education - including iMeducate that has helped over 20,000 medical professionals pass their exams to date.
Chris is also the previous founder and director of an after hours medical service that provided gold star healthcare to the South West region of Western Australia and earned him a Citizen of the Year Award nomination for his outstanding contribution to community health.
After graduating, Brad began practicing as a senior podiatrist at Singapore General Hospital.
Transitioning away from patient care, Brad returned to Australia and completed an MBA (exec) with AGSM in Sydney before moving to Indonesia for 15 years.
Brad has since held senior leadership positions across a range of industries including hospitality, tourism, consumer lifestyle and consulting.
While leading the growth of international brands including Quiksilver and Oakley in SE Asia, Brad was an early adopter of digital platforms as a means to overcome the geographic spread of the region’s population centres and the lack of quantifiable outcomes of traditional marketing options.
Brad has proven his ability to develop coherent business and brand strategies executed through digitally led go-to-market systems.
Joining the Ediofy team, Brad is looking forward to the opportunity to combine his experience in digital solutions and healthcare delivery to help improve both provider and patient outcomes.
